Vietnamese Airline Launches Up to 77% Discount Event Amid Vinh Airport Closure Concerns

VietJet Air, a Vietnamese low-cost carrier widely known among domestic travelers, is holding a discount event offering up to 77% off.

On June 30 (local time), VietJet Air announced, "We will launch a large-scale promotional campaign starting July 7." Through this campaign, the airline will provide millions of tickets for all international and domestic Vietnam routes at discounts of up to 77%.

To make a reservation, customers can book Eco tickets on the VietJet website or mobile app and enter the promotion code. The applicable travel period is from August 11, 2025, to March 28, 2026. In response to increased summer travel demand, VietJet plans to add more than 600,000 seats on over 145 routes.

Last month, VietJet Air announced the launch of three new routes connecting Thanh Hoa with major economic and tourist cities Dalat, Buon Ma Thuot, and Can Tho. This measure aims to enhance regional connectivity and support travel demand during the closure of Vinh International Airport for maintenance from July 1 to December 31.

Founded in 2007, VietJet Air is Vietnam's first private airline and is actively competing with Korean low-cost carriers (LCCs) by operating 15 flights to Incheon Airport and 7 flights to Gimhae Airport.
