No Initial Payments, Insurance, Taxes, or Maintenance Fees
KG Mobility (KGM) announced on July 1 that it will launch its vehicle subscription service, 'KGM Mobilling'.
This subscription service allows customers to freely rent KGM vehicles on a monthly basis, without any additional costs for insurance, taxes, or maintenance, and without any initial payments such as deposits or down payments. 'Mobilling' is a combination of 'mobility' and the present participle 'ing', symbolizing a life in constant motion and ongoing adventure.
The service will offer models such as Torres, Torres Hybrid, and Actyon, as well as the soon-to-be-released Actyon Hybrid. KGM plans to expand the lineup to include eco-friendly models and new vehicles in the future.
The monthly subscription fee is expected to be around 700,000 to 800,000 KRW, allowing up to 2,500 km of driving per month.
Vehicle maintenance, including replacement of consumables and regular inspections, will be provided free of charge. The service monitors the vehicle's condition in real time based on more than 20 types of safety-related data, detecting and managing abnormalities. It also offers systematic vehicle management services through a nationwide network of over 1,350 maintenance centers. For enhanced operational expertise and customer satisfaction, the service is operated in strategic partnership with Car123Jesper, the leading vehicle management outsourcing company in Korea.
Any Korean national who is at least 26 years old, has held a driver's license for more than one year, and possesses a credit card in their own name is eligible to apply for the subscription.
A KGM representative stated, "This is not just a simple car rental service, but a dynamic mobility platform designed to help customers enjoy their daily lives with freedom and confidence," adding, "We plan to sequentially expand the service with the introduction of new models and offerings such as camping packages."
