The newly appointed regular staff will participate in a five-week introductory and On the Job Training (OJT) program starting June 30, during which they will share the Authority's vision and core values, develop basic job competencies, and complete various programs to ensure successful adaptation to their roles. After completing the training, they will be assigned to their respective departments to begin their official duties.

The experiential youth interns will be assigned to the headquarters and six regional branches, where they will work for six months. Those who demonstrate outstanding performance during this period will receive extra points when applying for future general staff recruitment exams at the Authority.

To further expand youth employment and address job shortages, the Authority plans to recruit an additional 80 regular employees in the second half of this year and 75 experiential youth interns next year, totaling approximately 155 new hires.

Lee Seonghae, President of the Korea Rail Network Authority, stated, "I hope that the newly appointed employees will grow into well-rounded talents equipped with diverse expertise in the railway sector, innovative thinking, passion, and communication skills, and become the future leaders of the Authority."
