Open a Fund Account for Your Child Anytime, Anywhere
No Need to Visit a Branch with KB Star Banking
KB Kookmin Bank is launching a new service called "Woori Ai Fund Mandulgi," which allows customers to easily open fund accounts for their minor children through a non-face-to-face process.
This service enables parents with minor children to open a fund account in the child's name via KB Star Banking. By scraping family information from the Supreme Court Family Registration System, parents can subscribe to funds conveniently without submitting family relationship documents. In addition, even if the child does not have a deposit and withdrawal account in their name, parents can use their own account to withdraw funds and open the account.
With the introduction of this service, customers are no longer required to visit a branch with family relationship documents to open a fund account for their child. Now, they can open a fund account in the child's name at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, through the KB Star Banking app.
To celebrate the launch, KB Kookmin Bank is also holding an event. The event runs until July 31, and is open to customers who open a fund account in their child's name with a minimum of 50,000 KRW and register an automatic transfer of at least 10,000 KRW through "Woori Ai Fund Mandulgi." Among eligible customers, a lottery will be held with various prizes such as AirPods Pro 2nd generation, amusement park tickets, chicken set coupons, and Starbucks coupons.
