[Tomorrow's Weather] 'Heatwave Advisory' in the South with Highs up to 36 Degrees... Central Region 'Cloudy'

Continued Heat Amid Cloudy Skies
Tropical Night Expected in Some Areas

On Sunday the 29th, hot weather will continue nationwide.

Morning temperatures will range from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will reach between 27 and 36 degrees, which is higher than the average for this time of year (morning 18 to 21 degrees, daytime 25 to 29 degrees). In particular, heatwave advisories have been issued for the southern regions, parts of Chungcheong, and Jeju Island, where the perceived temperature will exceed 33 degrees. In Daegu, the southeastern part of North Gyeongsang, and the central inland area of South Gyeongsang, temperatures will rise above 35 degrees, making it extremely hot.

A tropical night, where temperatures do not fall below 25 degrees from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next day, is also expected to occur in some areas.

The central region will remain mostly cloudy, while the southern region will see intermittent cloudiness. Rain is possible in northern Chungcheong until dawn, in the Seoul metropolitan area until the morning, and in Gangwon Province until the afternoon.

Expected precipitation is 5 to 40 millimeters in the five West Sea islands, 5 to 20 millimeters in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and northern Chungcheong, and around 5 millimeters along the east coast of Gangwon.

Fine dust levels will remain at 'good' or 'moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.

Waves on the sea will range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea. Gusty winds and thunder and lightning are expected in some areas of the West Sea, so caution is advised to prevent maritime accidents.
