Broadcaster and former announcer Jungyeon Oh hosted the event "Month of Patriots and Veterans, Invitation from the President," held at the Blue House State Guesthouse on the 27th. Jungyeon Oh is the granddaughter of the late Major Oh Junhwan, a Korean War veteran.

On this day, Jungyeon Oh posted on her social networking service (SNS), "This was the first event held at the Blue House since the inauguration of the new government," adding, "Although I couldn't film the main ceremony, I was able to record a video during the rehearsal," as she shared photos and videos taken at the venue.
The video shows Jungyeon Oh, dressed in a white suit, standing on stage and rehearsing. She said, "My paternal grandfather participated as a platoon leader in the Battle of Bloody Ridge, one of the fiercest battles of the Korean War, and suffered a serious leg injury during the fighting. After undergoing major surgery, he lived with a disability, but his love for the country only deepened. That unwavering patriotic spirit remains a great source of pride for our family."
Jungyeon Oh expressed her feelings about attending, saying, "It was a great honor to be part of such a meaningful occasion, where we deeply appreciate and give back to the noble dedication of national patriots and their families who defended our country." She continued, "As shown in the video, being able to share the story of my late grandfather, Major Oh Junhwan, a Korean War veteran, in front of the President, First Lady, and the families of patriots was a deeply moving moment for me as I thought of my grandfather." She added, "Grandfather, I hope you are resting in peace," revealing her heartfelt emotions.
Jungyeon Oh also included hashtags in her post such as "I will not forget that today's peace was not simply given," and "I will remember your sacrifice and devotion."
At 12:00 p.m. on the 27th, the Presidential Office invited about 160 national patriots and their families to the Blue House State Guesthouse for the event "Month of Patriots and Veterans, Invitation from the President," and hosted a luncheon. The event was held to offer the highest respect and convey gratitude and admiration to those who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the country. On this day, actor Shin Hyunjun also attended the event as a member of a patriot family, having been invited by President Lee Jaemyung. Shin Hyunjun is the son of the late Colonel Shin Inkyun, a Korean War veteran.
Jungyeon Oh joined KBS as an announcer in 2006 and hosted programs such as "Star Golden Bell," "Live Info Show," and "6 O'Clock My Hometown." After leaving KBS in 2015, she became a freelancer and appeared on variety shows such as "Kick a Goal," "Golf Star K," and "Because I'm Solo."
