On June 27, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced that professional billiards player Jeong Subin has been appointed as a promotional ambassador for the city.

Since making her debut in the domestic women's professional billiards league (LPBA) in 2022, Jeong has consistently delivered strong performances and has emerged as a standout player.
At the appointment ceremony held on June 26, Jeong stated, "As the newly appointed promotional ambassador, I want to help promote Ansan's vibrant sports culture and contribute to spreading a positive image of Ansan."
Lee Mingeun, Mayor of Ansan, said, "Jeong is a talented individual who can contribute to the popularization of billiards," and added, "We expect her to play a significant role in promoting Ansan as a city of sports culture."
In addition to Jeong, actors Lee Hakju and Kim Seokhun, as well as Professor Kim Wonjun (singer), are also serving as promotional ambassadors for Ansan City.
