Adforus Advances Proprietary Generative AI Platform Based on LLM

Adforus, which is currently pursuing a merger with Shinyoung SPAC No.8, announced on June 27 that it is advancing its proprietary generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Mecus, which is based on a large language model (LLM). Adforus plans to maximize its market share by launching AI and data-driven services centered around Mecus.

Adforus Advances Proprietary Generative AI Platform Based on LLM

Mecus is a platform that creates advertising content based on AI algorithms. Adforus built Mecus by training and fine-tuning a large volume of its own advertising data using LLMs. Mecus features an automatic banner ad generation function as its core service, which can reduce average production time by more than 30% and significantly cut costs, while also enabling rapid customer response.

Over the past 10 years, Adforus has operated a total of five data platforms, including the performance marketing platform LINKMINE, accumulating differentiated capabilities in data collection and refinement. Leveraging its data assets, the company developed a generative AI platform and plans to implement a new service within the year that will automate and optimize AI-based advertising budget decisions.

A representative from Adforus stated, "By integrating our proprietary data collection platforms and data refinement technologies, we have developed and refined our LLM-based generative AI platform through testing. Going forward, we will actively apply Mecus to various advertising campaigns to strengthen our competitiveness. Since Mecus continuously learns from advertising performance data collected in real time from our data platform, it can generate and propose optimized advertising content tailored to each client."

He added, "Through ongoing research and development, we will develop additional algorithms and launch a variety of new generative AI-based services to enhance operational efficiency and maximize performance. Mecus will also be integrated with our proprietary foundry-type operating system currently under development, further strengthening our data-driven decision-making capabilities."

Adforus is currently integrating its data platforms to build Atier, an advertising data operating system (OS) modeled after Palantir's Foundry. By linking existing advertising platforms such as CUBEMINE to Atier, the company is entering the AI machine learning-based scenario optimization market and further enhancing its big data-driven, customer-tailored strategic consulting capabilities.
