Limited to 400,000 Boxes Starting in July
Upload a Verification Photo on Social Media for a Chance to Win Tokyo Disneyland Tickets
Nongshim announced on June 27 that it has partnered with The Walt Disney Company Korea (hereafter Disney Korea) to launch a collaboration product featuring Disney's popular character Winnie the Pooh on the packaging of its snack "Honey Twist."
The package design for this product includes a variety of characters such as Winnie the Pooh, who loves honey, as well as Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. The product will be available in a limited run of approximately 400,000 boxes starting next month.
Nongshim has set the theme for this product as "Feel Good with Honey" and will conduct various marketing activities. Customers who upload a verification photo on social media after purchasing the product will be entered into a drawing to win tickets to Tokyo Disneyland. Additionally, there will be events featuring a range of merchandise, including honey pot-shaped props and stickers.
A Nongshim representative stated, "We planned this collaboration to offer consumers a friendly and new kind of enjoyment by highlighting the shared keyword 'honey' between Winnie the Pooh and Honey Twist," adding, "We hope customers will enjoy the sweet taste of Honey Twist along with the Winnie the Pooh-themed product."
Meanwhile, Nongshim has been engaged in various social contribution activities through Honey Twist.
In May, Nongshim collaborated with a major domestic game company to sell a "Honey Twist Set" featuring game character IP on its own online mall, "Nongshimmall." The proceeds from these sales were used to donate Nongshim snack sets, including Honey Twist, to approximately 2,000 children at local children's centers.
Additionally, Nongshim purchases about 160 tons of domestically produced acacia honey each year for use in Honey Twist production, making efforts to provide tangible support to beekeeping farms. Since 2022, Nongshim has also signed a "Beekeeping Together" business agreement with the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the Korea Beekeeping Agricultural Cooperative, delivering development funds to support the stable farming activities of beekeepers.
