Gangseo District Recruiting Companies to Participate in "Korea Business Expo Incheon"

Support for Overseas Market Entry
Applications Accepted Until July 4

Gangseo District in Seoul is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the "2025 Korea Business Expo Incheon," which will be held in Songdo, Incheon, this October.


This event, designed to support SMEs in entering overseas markets, will take place from October 27 to 30 at Songdo Convensia. It is a large-scale global business event, with approximately 3,000 participants, including members of the World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (WORLD-OKTA) and overseas buyers.

The district will operate a "Gangseo District Business Pavilion" at the expo, supporting outstanding local SMEs in participating in the event. Participating companies will have opportunities for export consultations and business contracts with overseas buyers. The recruitment is open to six SMEs whose business registration and corporate registration are based in Gangseo District. Applications will be accepted until July 4. Interested companies can submit an application form and other required documents via email to the Regional Economy Division (leejihoon365@gangseo.seoul.kr).


Selected companies will receive various forms of support, including export consultation booths, overseas buyer matching, and interpretation services for business meetings. In addition, they will be provided with opportunities for global networking through meetings with Korean businesspeople from over 70 countries.


Jin Kyohun, Mayor of Gangseo District, stated, "Operating the Gangseo District Business Pavilion will greatly contribute to strengthening the global competitiveness of local SMEs, developing the regional economy, and supporting business growth." He added, "We hope that many outstanding SMEs interested in entering overseas markets will show active interest and participate."


Meanwhile, the "2026 Korea Business Expo Gangseo" will be held at COEX Magok from March 30 to April 2 next year. At the upcoming October Business Expo Incheon, Gangseo District will hold a proclamation ceremony to announce itself as the next host city.
