Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyun) announced on the 25th that it visited the Sinpyeong Fashion Collar Business Cooperative, located in the Sinbuk-myeon Sinpyeong Industrial Complex, on the 23rd to listen to the voices of businesses on site.

The visit was attended by Baek Younghyun, mayor of Pocheon, as well as the Director of Economic and Environmental Affairs, the Head of Corporate Support, the Head of Sinbuk-myeon, other city officials, and Kim Hongcheol, chairman of the cooperative.
Kim Hongcheol, chairman of the cooperative, said, "The supply price of clean water for industrial use is high and needs to be adjusted. Support for installing roofs to reduce odors from the wastewater treatment facility, and resolving issues such as food waste disposal, are urgent matters."
Baek Younghyun, mayor of Pocheon, stated, "We will prepare support measures that take into account the unique characteristics of the industrial complex." He added, "We will review the adjustment of the first-phase supply price of industrial water, as well as ways to utilize water from the Geosabo in Yeongjung-myeon, and then hold a related meeting. In addition, we will also discuss support for installing a roof at the wastewater treatment facility."
Pocheon City plans to continue visiting business sites directly to listen to various difficulties, prepare effective support measures, and create a city that is favorable for business.
Meanwhile, the Sinpyeong Fashion Collar Business Cooperative was established in 1998 and currently has 20 member companies. The cooperative conducts textile dyeing and printing.
In addition, it plays an important role in operating the joint wastewater treatment facility within the Sinpyeong Industrial Complex and supporting industrial water supply.
