Jeonnam Development Corporation announced on June 24 that it has established its 2025 Innovation Procurement Implementation Plan and will begin full-scale execution of strategies aimed at improving the mandatory public procurement rate and fostering mutual growth with innovative companies.
The corporation has set "Open Innovation Procurement, With Jeonnam's Future" as its vision and has established an innovation procurement system centered on four main strategies: ▲building institutional and policy foundations, ▲identifying innovative demand, ▲nurturing supplier companies, and ▲strengthening innovation procurement education and publicity.
In addition, the corporation held an Innovation Procurement Meeting on this day, inviting companies (Kyung Hyang Industry, GL Technology, Samsong ENC) participating in the Partnership Day organized by the Public Procurement Service. The event provided a platform for product introductions and one-on-one consultations between product managers and ordering officials, thereby promoting the implementation of innovation procurement based on actual demand.
President Jang Chungmo stated, "Innovation procurement is more than just purchasing; it is a key means to enhance the competitiveness of local companies and to establish an industrial ecosystem unique to Jeonnam. Going forward, we will faithfully serve as a bridge to ensure that outstanding local companies actively participate in the public procurement market, and the corporation will provide substantial support for these efforts."
Jeonnam Development Corporation plans to hold a public procurement fair in the second half of the year, and is pursuing mutual growth with outstanding local companies by selecting excellent partner companies and realizing innovative and responsible public procurement administration.
