Daewoo E&C announced on the 24th that it will begin sales of the "Seomyeon Summit The New," a residential-commercial complex being built in Busan, in August.
This high-end residential complex is being constructed on the former site of the NC Department Store Seomyeon branch, consisting of four buildings with 8 basement levels and 47 above-ground floors. It will include 919 apartment units ranging from 84 to 147 square meters in exclusive area, as well as commercial facilities occupying the 1st basement to the 3rd floor. The commercial space will cover 29,767 square meters.
The company stated that the location is considered a prime site even within Seomyeon, the center of Busan. Seomyeon Station on Busan Metro Lines 1 and 2 is a five-minute walk away. Jeonpo Station on Line 2, Bujeon Station on the KTX and Donghae Line, and the Dongseo Elevated Road are also nearby. The area is well equipped with lifestyle amenities such as department stores and large supermarkets. Elementary, middle, and high schools are located within a 1-kilometer radius, and the library opposite the complex is scheduled to reopen in the second half of next year.
Busan Citizens Park, located nearby, is seeing accelerated development of surrounding redevelopment zones. In the large-scale urban renewal districts in the area, five zones will be transformed into apartment complexes with approximately 9,000 units. The development of the Bujeon Station integrated transfer center is also underway. The next-generation Busan-type express railway, BuTX, is planned to pass through Bujeon Station near the complex.
The word "Summit" in the complex's name represents Daewoo E&C's high-end residential brand. The complex will mainly feature medium to large unit types, which are highly preferred in the region, and will use premium kitchen furniture and finishing materials. Shared facilities for residents will include a sky lounge with city views and a guesthouse equipped with a sauna and jacuzzi. There will also be a swimming pool and a private golf practice range. The model house will be set up at the Summit Gallery Seomyeon near Haeundae Station.
