Providing Essential Consumer Safety Information for Everyday Life
On June 24, Hana Bank announced that it is now providing the Korea Consumer Agency's "Consumer Life Safety Information" service through its flagship mobile app, Hana OneQ.
The "Consumer Life Safety Information" service from the Korea Consumer Agency includes essential consumer safety information needed in daily life, such as notices about hazardous foods and the latest recalls of defective or dangerous products.
Hana Bank participated in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's public institution digital service opening project to enhance customer convenience and promote consumer rights. As a result, Hana Bank customers can now access the Korea Consumer Agency's "Consumer Life Safety Information" directly through the Hana OneQ mobile app.
Within the "Consumer Life Safety Information" section of Hana OneQ, users can find a variety of consumer safety information necessary for everyday life, including: easy-to-understand safety stories, notifications about products blocked from domestic distribution, guidance on hazardous foods purchased overseas, and a domestic recall information inquiry service. In addition, users can also report consumer life safety issues to the Korea Consumer Agency through the app.
A Hana Bank representative stated, "We have introduced the Korea Consumer Agency's 'Consumer Life Safety Information' viewing service to enhance digital convenience for our customers and to promote consumer rights," adding, "We will continue to expand differentiated lifestyle financial services and discover various digital innovation cases that provide tangible, customer-centered benefits."
