GH to Improve Housing Environment for Medically Vulnerable Groups... Launches "Jibeuro Project" with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) is launching a project to improve the housing environment for medically vulnerable groups.

On the 23rd, GH held a launching ceremony for the "Jibeuro Project" with Bundang Seoul National University Hospital and announced on the 24th that it will begin full-scale efforts to improve the housing environment for medically vulnerable individuals.

The Jibeuro Project is a program that supports home renovations such as installing mobility aids, providing fall prevention items, and replacing wallpaper and flooring, so that discharged patients can live safely at home.

The households eligible for support will be identified by Bundang Seoul National University Hospital.

Last year, through the "Community-linked Medical Welfare Social Contribution Contest," GH selected the Seongnam City and Bundang Seoul National University Hospital consortium as the implementing organization for the project. Since this year, GH has been conducting various social contribution programs for medically vulnerable groups, including the Jibeuro Project and emergency medical expense support.

Starting with households in Seongnam City at the end of this month, GH will support up to 8 million won per household for a total of seven households in the province this year.
