On Tuesday, the 24th, the stationary front will move northward again, bringing monsoon rain to most regions across the country.
Rain will begin in the Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions at dawn, and from the morning, it will also fall in Jeonbuk and the southern part of Gyeongbuk. In the afternoon, rain is expected in southern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, and northern Gyeongbuk. From nighttime, rain will fall in some areas of Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and Gangwon Province (excluding the central and southern inland areas of Gangwon).
The expected rainfall for the two days from the 24th to the 25th is forecast at 20 to 60 mm for the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gyeongsang, and Jeju.
In the southern regions, there will be areas of heavy rain at a rate of 10 to 20 mm per hour between the morning and evening of the 24th. In the central regions, heavy rain is expected in some areas from late afternoon on the same day to early morning on the 25th.
In some regions, there may be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.
The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 17 to 23 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius. In the Seoul metropolitan area and the inland areas of Gangwon, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to around 30 degrees Celsius.
The forecasted morning lows by region are: Seoul 23 degrees, Incheon 22 degrees, Chuncheon 19 degrees, Gangneung 21 degrees, Cheongju 22 degrees, Daejeon 21 degrees, Jeonju 21 degrees, Gwangju 21 degrees, Daegu 19 degrees, Busan 20 degrees, Ulsan 18 degrees, and Jeju 20 degrees.
The forecasted daytime highs are: Seoul 30 degrees, Incheon 29 degrees, Chuncheon 29 degrees, Gangneung 26 degrees, Cheongju 28 degrees, Daejeon 26 degrees, Jeonju 26 degrees, Gwangju 24 degrees, Daegu 25 degrees, Busan 24 degrees, Ulsan 24 degrees, and Jeju 27 degrees.
The fine dust concentration is expected to remain at 'good' to 'normal' levels across all regions.
Wave heights in the sea are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea.
In offshore areas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
