Kolon Global Begins Applications for Final Sale of "Haneulchae Edique" in Cheongju Dongnam District

Kolon Global announced on June 23 that it has begun accepting applications for the "Dongnam Haneulchae Edique" apartment complex, which will be built in Bangseo-dong, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. The complex will consist of seven buildings, each ranging from three basement levels to 24 above-ground floors, with a total of 650 units. All units are a single type, each with an exclusive area of 59 square meters.

The application schedule begins with special supply on this day, followed by first-priority applications on June 24 and second-priority applications on June 25. The winners will be announced on July 1, and contracts will be signed over a four-day period starting August 4.

To qualify for first-priority application, applicants must be adult members of a household without home ownership who have held a subscription savings account for at least six months and made at least six monthly deposits. The sale price is set uniformly at 329.9 million KRW for all unit types. As the complex is supplied on public land, the price ceiling system applies, and the price is considered reasonable compared to market rates.

A key strength of this complex is its well-established educational environment for children. Undong Elementary School, Undong Middle School, and Sangdang High School are all within walking distance. A new standalone kindergarten is also planned. In nearby Yongam-dong, which is easily accessible by car, there is a concentration of private academies, making it convenient for residents to use these facilities.

The living infrastructure is also abundant. Nearby the complex are Hanaro Mart (Cheongju branch), Lotte Mart (Sangdang branch), and Lotte Cinema (Cheongju Yongam), as well as parks, elementary, middle, and high schools, and kindergartens, all clustered together to ensure convenience in daily life.

"Dongnam Haneulchae Edique" is the last apartment to be offered for sale in the Cheongju Dongnam District. The Cheongju Dongnam District is a large-scale development area covering approximately 2.06 million square meters across Yongjeong-dong, Yongam-dong, Bangseo-dong, and Undong-dong, and is a new town-scale area with over 15,000 households. Most of the complexes, except for this one, have already been occupied, allowing new residents to immediately use the existing infrastructure.

The apartment interiors have also been designed for practicality. Despite the exclusive area of 59 square meters, each unit features three bedrooms, as well as ample storage spaces including an entrance storage room, a pantry, and a large walk-in closet. Approximately 96% of the units are designed with a four-bay flat layout, ensuring plenty of sunlight and good ventilation. The floors use thick soundproofing material (60T) to reduce noise between floors.

Within the complex, a variety of community facilities will be available for residents, including a senior citizens’ center, a group care center, a small library, a kids’ cafe, a golf practice range, a daycare center, and a guest house, providing convenience for families. The south-facing layout and wide spacing between buildings are also expected to create a pleasant residential environment.
