Through a press announcement on the same day, Special Prosecutor Min stated, "Today, we requested the Ministry of Justice to dispatch 28 prosecutors." According to the special prosecutor law, the Kim Keonhee special prosecutor's team can have up to 40 prosecutors dispatched.

Previously, Special Prosecutor Min requested and received five chief prosecutors with experience in election and financial investigations from the Ministry of Justice. The dispatched prosecutors include Han Munhyeok, chief of the Criminal Division 5 at the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office, who is reinvestigating the alleged stock price manipulation involving Deutsche Motors by Kim Keonhee; Chae Heeman, head of the Anti-Corruption Division 2 at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office; Song Bongjun, head of the Election Investigation Support Division at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office; In Hoon, chief of the Criminal Division 5 at the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office; and Jeong Seonje, chief of the Criminal Division 3 at the Busan Western District Prosecutors' Office.

Prosecutor Chae was part of the reporting line for the case involving the alleged acceptance of an expensive necklace and luxury bag by Jeon Seongbae, known as "Geonjin Bopsa," which is currently under investigation by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office. Chief Prosecutor Han, in addition to his involvement in 2021, is currently participating in the ongoing investigation into the Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation case at the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office.

The Kim Keonhee special prosecutor's team stated that, except for one member who was absent due to personal reasons, four prosecutors reported to work at the temporary office in Seocho-dong, Seoul, on this day.

If the dispatch of 28 prosecutors is finalized, Special Prosecutor Min is expected to complete the formation of teams to investigate 16 allegations related to Kim Keonhee and begin a full-scale investigation.
