Shinhan Life announced on June 20 that it will hold a subscription event for its "Shinhan SOL Accident Insurance Mini (Non-dividend)" product, which covers fractures and surgeries caused by accidents, in response to the increase in outdoor activities during the summer season. The event will run until the end of August.
During the event period, customers who subscribe to the product through the Shinhan SOL Life application or the Shinhan Life Digital Insurance website will receive 10% of their paid insurance premiums, up to a maximum of 30,000 points, as My Shinhan Points.
Customers who agree to receive marketing communications will also have a chance to win a Starbucks mobile voucher through a lottery.
This product provides coverage for accidents that may occur in daily life, such as during travel or sports. It offers benefits for major accident surgery, Achilles tendon injury surgery, accident surgery, accident fracture treatment, and treatment for five major accident-related fractures.
The eligible subscription age is from 19 to 60 years old. The product is available as a pure protection-type, one-year term, single premium policy. For a 40-year-old subscriber (with an insured amount of 10 million KRW), the premium is 13,080 KRW for men and 8,560 KRW for women.
A Shinhan Life representative stated, "It is important to prepare for unexpected accidents not only during the summer vacation period but also in everyday life," and added, "We hope customers can enjoy both practical coverage and benefits by easily subscribing to accident insurance."
