30 Daegu Youths Visit Mid-Sized Medical Device Company Megagen Implant: "Great Help for Job Preparation"

Second Company Visit Scheduled at Sambo Motors Next Month

The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairperson Park Yunkyung), in collaboration with the Daegu Metropolitan Government, held an "Outstanding Company Visit Event" on June 19, inviting 30 local young people to visit the headquarters of Megagen Implant Co., Ltd.

This event was organized to enhance understanding of outstanding local companies and to support young people's career exploration and job competency development. Participants experienced the workplace firsthand through a variety of programs, including an introduction to Megagen Implant, a tour of the production facilities, and a Q&A session with executives and employees in a relaxed atmosphere.

About 30 young people visiting Megagen Implant, a leading medical company in the Daegu area, are gathered in one place for a commemorative photo.

Led by CEO Park Kwangbum, Megagen Implant is a mid-sized medical device company headquartered in Daegu. The company exports implants and dental equipment to over 100 countries and achieved $200 million in exports in 2024. The young visitors experienced the global competitiveness of a local company by observing the production process.

In particular, Megagen Implant's executives and employees shared their practical work experiences, recruitment procedures, and company culture directly with the participants, who actively engaged in communication by asking questions. Thanks to candid answers and realistic advice, participants gained a deeper understanding of job roles and received significant help in preparing for employment.

Lee Sanggil, Executive Vice Chairman of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "We will continue to expand opportunities for field-based communication so that outstanding local companies can be recognized as attractive workplaces for young people."

Meanwhile, Daegu Metropolitan Government and the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry plan to continue offering programs to strengthen young people's practical job competencies.
