On June 20, Catch, a recruitment platform, analyzed the most talked-about companies among job seekers in the first half of this year and found that Hyundai Motor Company ranked first. In March, Hyundai Motor Company conducted a large-scale recruitment drive for new employees, including production positions, which drew significant attention. The job posting received approximately 260,000 views, ranking first, while the company's content received 24,000 views, ranking second.
SK Hynix came in second place. In March, SK Hynix carried out a three-digit-scale recruitment for new employees, drawing the attention of job seekers in science and engineering fields. The job posting received 190,000 views, ranking second, while the company's content received about 50,000 views, making it the highest in that category.
CJ Olive Young ranked third. Olive Young actively held offline recruitment briefings along with its open recruitment in the first half of the year. Both the job posting views (150,000) and company content views (20,000) ranked third. As the company is growing rapidly, job seekers' interest has also increased accordingly.
The rest of the top ten were Hanwha Aerospace (4th), Hyundai Autoever (5th), Cosmax (6th), Hanwha Systems (7th), Hanwha Ocean (8th), Naver (9th), and Costco Korea (10th).
Catch noted, "What is particularly noteworthy is that business-to-business (B2B) companies, which conducted active recruitment, were included among the top-ranked companies, rather than business-to-consumer (B2C) companies with high brand awareness." The company also pointed out that "many companies that held offline briefings in the first half, such as Hyundai Autoever, and those that conducted large-scale recruitment, such as Hanwha Aerospace, made it into the rankings."
In addition, an analysis of the industries of the top 200 companies in the ranking showed that manufacturing accounted for half of them. Catch stated, "It was confirmed that manufacturing was at the center of the recruitment market in the first half of the year," and added, "By industry, not only traditional manufacturing sectors such as semiconductors, machinery, and electronics, but also new growth industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and beauty had a significant presence."
Kim Junghyun, head of Catch at Jinhaksa, said, "Generation Z job seekers showed great interest not only in well-known companies but also in companies that are actively recruiting or are perceived as having a high possibility of employment," and added, "It is necessary for companies to actively promote their recruitment information based on their strengths and to expand their points of contact with job seekers."
This ranking was calculated based on the average ranking of job posting views and company content views (such as company profiles, interviews, and reviews) during March and April 2025. In the case of a tie, the total number of views was used to determine the ranking.
