Shinbaek Rewards Offered by Purchase Amount
Shinsegae Department Store, which has partnerships with the largest number of credit card companies among domestic department stores?five in total (Citi, Samsung, Shinhan, Hana, and BC Baro)?has been holding a "Card Festa" once each in the first and second halves of the year since 2023.
This event, commemorating the 56th anniversary of these partnerships, has significantly enhanced shopping benefits so that customers can experience tangible rewards. During the event period, customers who purchase luxury goods, fashion, or accessories with a Shinsegae partnership card will receive up to 7% in Shinbaek Rewards based on the purchase amount.
At the Gangnam, Daegu Shinsegae, Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science, Main Store, Centum City, Shinsegae South City, and Times Square locations, customers will receive 1.4 million, 2.1 million, 3.5 million, 7 million, 14 million, 21 million, or 35 million R in Shinbaek Rewards for purchases of 20 million, 30 million, 50 million, 100 million, 200 million, 300 million, or 500 million KRW, respectively. At Gwangju Shinsegae, Gimhae, Masan, Starfield Hanam, Uijeongbu, and Cheonan Asan locations, customers will receive 200,000, 400,000, or 700,000 R in Shinbaek Rewards for purchases of 3 million, 6 million, or 10 million KRW, respectively.
On the Shinsegae Department Store mobile app, customers can receive four types of "Happy Birthday Reward Coupons" that can be used in the fashion/accessories, food, and lifestyle categories. These coupons can be used together, further expanding the range of benefits.
Additionally, until June 22, customers who spend over 1 million KRW in a single store using a Shinsegae partnership Samsung, Shinhan, Hana, or BC Baro card will receive a 20,000 KRW cashback benefit. Furthermore, each card company is offering interest-free installment benefits for purchases over 50,000 KRW.
To accommodate customers seeking to escape the summer heat and rainy season by visiting the department store, restaurant coupons and wine discount coupons for use at the "Wine & Spirits Festival" are also available for download and use through the mobile application. Restaurant coupons include 10,000 KRW and 5,000 KRW discounts for payments over 30,000 KRW and 10,000 KRW, respectively, while wine coupons offer 10,000 KRW and 5,000 KRW discounts for wine purchases over 100,000 KRW and 50,000 KRW, respectively.
Meanwhile, Shinsegae partnership cards offer a variety of benefits beyond basic card services, including department store 5% discount coupons (3 to 6 per month), two free parking passes per month, 0.2% Shinsegae point accumulation, and 100% recognition of VIP-qualifying purchases, leading to a steady increase in membership.
