On June 19, Hana Securities announced that it had signed a business agreement with Woori Investment & Securities for the sale of software copyrights related to next-generation securities business systems.
Through this agreement, Hana Securities will provide Woori Investment & Securities with the operations manual for the next-generation securities business system software, which was introduced in 2016. The company plans to share its accumulated IT system development capabilities, business manuals, and overall operational know-how gained through the process of conducting securities business.
Woori Investment & Securities is said to have highly evaluated Hana Securities' next-generation system for its stability, its use of user-friendly and up-to-date operational trends, and the fact that it possesses the most recently built securities ledger system.
Shin Seungcheol, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Hana Securities, stated, "Through this strategic partnership, in which we provide the next-generation system we have built and operated over the past ten years, we will contribute to the stability of the financial market." He added, "We will also strive to realize digital ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) through the reproduction and circulation of IT technology."
Meanwhile, Hana Securities completed its ancillary business registration and began offering IT system and software rental and sales services related to the financial investment business on June 13.
