On June 19, Korean Air announced that it had signed a mutual business agreement (MOU) with Hyundai Card to support the air transportation of artworks for exhibitions at Hyundai Card Storage.

Under this agreement, Korean Air will serve as Hyundai Card's first official transportation partner. From next month until June of next year, Korean Air will be responsible for transporting the exhibition pieces to be displayed at Hyundai Card Storage.

Korean Air is recognized as a global airline with outstanding capabilities and expertise in the transportation of artworks. The airline deploys dedicated cargo aircraft for artwork transportation, with experts conducting frequent inspections during the flight. Additionally, to ensure maximum safety, Korean Air uses special containers to transport fragile and climate-sensitive artworks under optimal conditions, maintaining appropriate shock protection as well as temperature and humidity control.

In fact, since April, Korean Air has been the official logistics sponsor for the 'Hyundai Card Culture Project 29 Tom Sachs Exhibition' held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, successfully transporting the exhibited works. Previously, in 2021, Korean Air completed four separate shipments to introduce more than 110 pieces from the collection of the Mus?e National Picasso-Paris to Korea.

A Korean Air representative stated, "Based on our long-accumulated expertise in special cargo transportation, we will safely deliver world-class artworks and present them to domestic audiences," adding, "We will also do our utmost to ensure that the return shipments after the exhibitions are completed are carried out safely."
