Kooksoondang announced on June 19 that it will launch a small-sized "Baekseju Miniature," suitable for light drinking with meals.
Baekseju Miniature comes in a 95ml bottle, which is one-fourth the size of the standard 375ml version typically distributed in the market. The 95ml size offers enough for two to three glasses, making it ideal for Korea's drinking culture that pairs good food with good alcohol. The design and flavor remain true to the original Baekseju.
With the launch of Baekseju Miniature, Baekseju now offers a lineup in three sizes: 500ml, 375ml, and 95ml, giving consumers a wider range of choices. Baekseju Miniature will first be available at select large supermarkets and will gradually expand to other retailers.
Baekseju is recognized as a representative Korean cultural product, having been the first alcoholic beverage designated as an "Excellent Cultural Product" by the government. Last year, Baekseju underwent a rebranding under the concept "Baekseju, the Aroma Connecting a Hundred Years." Its balanced freshness and clean umami enhance the flavors of food enjoyed together.
A Kooksoondang representative stated, "In response to consumer requests for a Baekseju product that can be easily enjoyed in line with the solo and home drinking trends, we have launched the small-sized Baekseju Miniature. We hope you will enjoy the convenience of Baekseju Miniature, which pairs perfectly with delicious food and the culture of drinking with meals."
