Zigzag Expands Same-Day Delivery to Daejeon, Accelerating Service Area Growth

Kakao Style announced on the 19th that its fashion platform 'Zigzag' has expanded the same-day delivery service area of its fast delivery service 'Jikjin Delivery' to include Daejeon.

This expansion follows the extension to Cheonan and Asan in South Chungcheong Province in February, and now covers seven neighborhoods in Daedeok District, 19 in Dong District, 16 in Seo District, 35 in Yuseong District, and 19 in Jung District of Daejeon Metropolitan City.

Jikjin Delivery currently operates with three options: nationwide standard delivery available seven days a week (orders placed before midnight arrive the next day); same-day delivery for Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Cheonan, Asan, and Daejeon (orders placed before 1 p.m. arrive the same day); and early morning delivery for Seoul (orders placed before 10 p.m. arrive the following morning).

Since the beginning of this year, the total transaction volume of Jikjin Delivery has increased by 35% compared to the same period last year. Within this, same-day delivery transactions rose by 30%, and early morning delivery by 53%. After launching same-day delivery in Cheonan and Asan in February, the transaction volume in these regions increased by about 20% in May compared to February. Demand for Jikjin Delivery is expected to rise further from late June to July, coinciding with the start of the summer vacation season.

A Kakao Style representative stated, "By expanding the same-day delivery area, we aim to provide local customers with a fast delivery experience comparable to that of the Seoul metropolitan area," adding, "We will continue to focus on streamlining our logistics processes to raise our delivery guarantee rate as close to 100% as possible and on building stable processes in collaboration with our partners."
