Request for Cooperation in Dispatching Investigative Personnel
Min Joongki, the special prosecutor investigating allegations related to former President Yoon Sukyeol's wife, Kim Keonhee, will visit a series of relevant agencies on June 19 to request cooperation, including the dispatch of investigative personnel.
The Kim Keonhee special prosecution team announced on June 18 that Special Prosecutor Min will meet with Kim Seokwoo, the acting Minister of Justice, at the Gwacheon Government Complex at 10:30 a.m. on June 19.
Afterward, he is scheduled to meet with Oh Dongwoon, head of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, at 11:05 a.m., and with Kim Junyoung, chief of the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, at 3:30 p.m.
During these meetings, Special Prosecutor Min is expected to request cooperation, such as the dispatch of investigative personnel, and to review the status of the investigation related to Kim Keonhee. The Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency is currently investigating allegations of preferential treatment regarding the route change of the Seoul-Yangpyeong Expressway, which is related to real estate owned by Kim Keonhee's family.
