Woojin Industrial Systems announced that it will participate in the 2025 Busan International Railroad Technology Industry Exhibition, which will be held at BEXCO in Busan for four days starting June 18. At this event, the company will showcase the K-AGT (Korean Automated Guideway Transit) Yangsan Line and the Apollo 900 autonomous electric bus.
The K-AGT is an unmanned automatic driving light rail system developed by the company, marking the first such development in Korea and the fourth in the world. It is scheduled to be deployed on Yangsan City Urban Railway Line 1. The company explained that the system adopts a rubber-tired approach, which results in low operating noise and enables stable operation even on curved and inclined sections. It is designed based on a fully automated driving system.
The Apollo 900 autonomous electric bus is a mode of transportation suitable for urban traffic environments. It offers zero-emission and low-noise operation, and features an advanced sensor and control system based on artificial intelligence (AI), enabling autonomous driving within city centers.
