LG Innotek Selected as One of Korea's Top 50 Brands for Two Consecutive Years

Selected as One of the "Best Korea Brands" by Interbrand
Chosen Among the Top 50 Companies with the Highest Brand Value
High Scores in Finance, Market Influence, and Growth Potential

LG Innotek announced on the 17th that it has been selected as one of the "Best Korea Brands 2025," organized by Interbrand, the world’s largest brand consulting group.

LG Innotek first made it onto this list of 50 high-value companies last year and has been selected for the second consecutive year. The company explained that this achievement is "the result of successfully expanding its presence as a global innovative technology company by establishing a new vision aligned with business portfolio diversification."


Interbrand is a brand consulting group founded in 1974. Since 2013, it has annually announced the "Best Korea Brands," which selects the top 50 companies with the highest brand value in Korea. Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and Naver are also included in this list.


The "Best Korea Brands" selection is determined by comprehensively analyzing not only a company’s financial factors but also its market dominance, influence, and growth potential to evaluate brand value. Interbrand’s evaluation criteria are known as the most trusted global methodology in the branding and marketing industry, having been the first in the industry to obtain ISO certification.


According to Interbrand’s assessment, LG Innotek’s brand value is 407.5 billion KRW. LG Innotek reportedly received high scores across all categories, including finance, market influence, and growth potential. In terms of business performance, LG Innotek achieved record-high sales of 21.2008 trillion KRW in 2024, led by its optical solutions, substrate materials, and automotive components businesses. The company is also working to build a robust business portfolio by expanding its top-tier capabilities accumulated in the optical solutions business to the AD/ADAS components and semiconductor components sectors.


In addition, LG Innotek is accelerating its future readiness by expanding its core proprietary technologies?such as optical design, precision manufacturing, and control?into new business areas like humanoid robotics. Notably, earlier this year, LG Innotek announced a new vision and brand identity, aiming to become an irreplaceable technology partner that supports customer success, beyond being just an excellent component supplier. Through this, the company is said to have shifted the paradigm of the traditional B2B business and repositioned itself in the global market.
