100,000 Visitors Flock to Suwon National Heritage Night Walk

It was estimated that approximately 100,000 tourists visited the "Night Walk of Suwon, the Fortress City Embracing Nightlight, 2025 National Heritage," which was held by Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, from the 13th to the 15th.


This National Heritage Night Walk was hosted and organized by Suwon City and the Suwon Cultural Foundation, with support from the National Heritage Administration. The event took place in the areas of Yongyeon, Suwoncheon, Haenggung-dong, and Yeonmu-dong.

This year's Night Walk, themed around the "Eight Nights," began with a lighting ceremony at the Yongyeon event venue on the evening of the 13th. The program featured a variety of activities utilizing cultural heritage, including exhibitions, performances, and hands-on experiences. The lighting ceremony was attended by Suwon Mayor Lee Jaejun, local members of the National Assembly, and others.


A Suwon City official stated, "By offering a diverse range of programs centered on the Eight Nights theme?such as night views, night history, and night routes?we attracted many visitors to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress."
