The meeting, which took place on June 16, was initiated at the suggestion of Consul General Jadamba and was arranged to expand sports exchanges and cooperation.

During the meeting, Consul General Jadamba stated, "I would like to invite the Mayor, the Jinju Sports Council, and the Jinju Disabled Sports Council officials to the Naadam Festival, Mongolia's largest festival. In addition, I hope to strengthen cooperation not only in sports exchanges but also in various fields by working closely with Jinju."

In response, Mayor Cho Gyuil said, "Thank you for visiting and showing interest in our city's sports activities and athletic infrastructure. Jinju has been actively building a global network and engaging in exchanges with many countries, including China. I hope that today's meeting will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen our friendly relations with Mongolia, and I kindly ask for your special interest and support so that we can continue our exchange activities."

Jinju plans to use this meeting as an opportunity to further promote cooperation activities for the development of sports for people with disabilities, which have been ongoing since last year, and to establish a link between the Jinju Sports Council and the Sports Council of Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, thereby expanding international sports exchanges.

Meanwhile, in June of last year, 12 professors from the Department of Sports at the National University of Mongolia visited Jinju to benchmark activities for people with disabilities, and in September, 18 Mongolian students with disabilities and others conducted training in Jinju.
