The pet hygiene and grooming volunteer service, organized in cooperation with Nam-gu District Office in Busan, was held at the dog playground 'Dongsup' located on the Dongmyung University campus from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on June 12.

On this day, students from the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction at Dongmyung University provided hygiene and grooming services to dogs visiting Dongsup, applying their major coursework in a practical setting.
Department head Kwak Jinsook stated, "Following the students' volunteer activities on this day, which were conducted in collaboration with the free mobile pet health consultation center operated in the first half of 2025, we plan to continue working with Nam-gu District Office to provide more grooming volunteer services for dogs. We also plan to gradually expand grooming services for dogs belonging to vulnerable groups."
