Yuhan Corporation announced on June 16 that it will be holding the "Founding Anniversary Sharing Week," an event in which executives and staff from each business site participate together to celebrate the company's 99th anniversary.
The Founding Anniversary Sharing Week, which runs for two weeks from June 10 to June 19, features a variety of activities. These include volunteer programs in collaboration with local communities at each business site, hands-on sharing activities that can be done regardless of time or place, and programs specifically designed for employees' children.

This year marks the first time the Founding Anniversary Sharing Week has been organized. The event was planned to encourage employees to reflect on the company's founding spirit, to strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, and to foster a culture of practical sharing. Through this "Founding Anniversary Sharing Week," Yuhan Corporation aims to put its founding principle of corporate social responsibility into practice and to provide opportunities for employees to internalize ESG values in their daily lives.
A range of activities is being carried out in partnership with local community welfare organizations at each business site. These include horticultural volunteering, where employees create and donate companion plants for local seniors; upcycling scrap paper to make notebooks; making safety umbrellas for children in local childcare centers; and baking bread for children from low-income families.
In addition, following last year's initiative, the company is once again holding the "Willow Environment Poster Drawing Contest" for employees' children, with outstanding works to be displayed internally and posted on the intranet. Starting on June 10, the company also organized a three-day "Lunchtime Plogging" event at each business site, during which employees from the headquarters, research center, and factory formed teams to collect litter in the areas surrounding their workplaces during lunch breaks.
A Yuhan Corporation representative stated, "In celebration of this Founding Anniversary Week, we aimed to share Yuhan's philosophy of giving, which originates from our entrepreneurial spirit, through various sharing activities with the local community," and added, "We will continue our efforts to become a sustainable company that grows together with the local community."
