This program is part of the "Youth Job Growth Project" and aims to help unemployed young people in the region regain confidence and strengthen their employability. Targeting unemployed youth aged 15 to 39 residing in Busan, the project provides comprehensive support including career counseling, customized education, and job placement services.
LetsRunPark BusanGyeongnam signed a business agreement with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency last year to promote mutual development and job creation in the local community, and this horse riding program was implemented as part of that agreement.
The program consists of three sessions and is offered completely free of charge. Participants can experience various horse industry activities such as feeding horses, horseback riding, and picnics. In addition, they receive advanced training from psychological counselors and employment consultants.
Eom Youngseok, head of LetsRunPark BusanGyeongnam, stated, "This program goes beyond simple vocational training. It is a very meaningful project that provides healing and confidence-building through horseback riding, as well as strengthening employability. We will continue to pursue various social contribution activities to support the growth of local youth."
The Career Connection Horse Riding Program will also be held on June 26 and July 3, with each session accommodating around 30 participants. There are high expectations for its sustainability and scalability as a local job linkage program utilizing the horse industry.
