The AI Festival is a competition designed to discover innovative financial service ideas using AI technology and to provide practical opportunities for talented individuals.
This year’s competition theme is customer-facing financial innovation services utilizing Naver’s generative AI, HyperCLOVA X. Participants can choose one of the following categories: proposing an AI agent financial service using HyperCLOVA X, or developing a responsive AI agent based on real-time information, documents, or scenarios using the HyperCLOVA Application Programming Interface (API).
The total prize pool is 55 million KRW. The grand prize winner will receive 20 million KRW, two teams will each receive 10 million KRW as excellence awards, and three teams will each receive 5 million KRW as merit awards. In addition, the grand prize winner will be offered a winter experiential internship at Mirae Asset Securities, and both the grand prize and excellence award winners will be granted an exemption from the document screening process for employment.
The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, including those on leave of absence, who may apply individually or in teams of up to three members. Applications are accepted from the 16th until July 6. Detailed information about participation and the competition can be found on the official 'Mirae Asset Festa' website.
A representative from Mirae Asset Securities stated, "With the rapid advancement of AI technology, innovative changes are required in the financial industry," and added, "We look forward to creative and innovative ideas that can envision the next generation of financial services through this AI Festival."
