Over 500 Global Partners Participating
Sharing Innovative Technologies for the Future Energy Transition

Samsung E&A is inviting domestic and international stakeholders in the energy sector to share future energy technologies, discuss innovative solutions, and explore directions for commercialization.

On June 16, Samsung E&A announced that it will hold the "Samsung E&A Tech Forum" on June 20 at the Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Sangil-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The event will be attended by more than 500 participants, including global clients such as Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil, and Petronas, as well as global partners in the energy sector such as Honeywell UOP, Johnson Matthey, Jidara, Nel, Carbon Clean, Baker Hughes, and domestic and international collaborators.

This forum, now in its second year, is designed to showcase Samsung E&A's technological capabilities in the field of eco-friendly energy transition and execution innovation?key areas the company has identified as future growth engines?to potential customers. The event also aims to explore new business opportunities together with participating companies.

Under the theme "Delivering New Value Through the Convergence of Technology," the forum will feature presentations of technical solutions and panel discussions by experts in energy transition, eco-friendliness, innovative technologies, and finance, conducted in a seminar format.

The event will open with a welcoming address by President Namkoong Hong, followed by presentations on the company's future technology strategies, represented by E&Able and AHEAD. The main program will be divided into sessions: E&Able (energy transition and eco-friendly sectors) and AHEAD (innovative technology sector).

First, global experts in fields such as green hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and eco-friendly water treatment will give presentations and participate in discussions to explore the future direction of energy technology. In addition, there will be seminars focused on each process?design, procurement, and construction?where Samsung E&A will introduce its differentiated execution innovation models to participants and share best practices and application strategies. In a separate exhibition space, Samsung E&A will also showcase innovative technology solutions it has invested in and developed.

In response to the era of energy transition, Samsung E&A is accelerating new business initiatives in the energy sector under the philosophy of "solving social challenges through technology," focusing on three E&Able strategies: E&Able Low (low-carbon), E&Able Zero (zero-carbon), and E&Able Circle (environment). The company is also continuing to pursue its AHEAD strategy, which aims to overcome the limitations of the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) business and secure differentiated execution competitiveness by leveraging innovative technologies such as digital transformation (DT), automation, and artificial intelligence (AI).

A Samsung E&A representative stated, "We hope this forum will serve as a platform for communication to explore and commercialize future energy and innovative technologies. Based on our differentiated execution innovation system, Samsung E&A plans to secure core eco-friendly technologies and lead the future energy market."
