According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the area will be affected by a low-pressure system moving northeast over the sea south of Jeju Island. The morning low temperature will range from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will be between 25 and 29 degrees Celsius.
Waves in both the West Sea and the southern coastal waters are expected to reach up to 2 meters high, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is expected to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Very heavy rain of around 30mm per hour is expected along the southern coast of Jeonnam from dawn to morning, so please pay attention to facility management and safety accidents."
