The Democratic Party of Korea has formed a new floor leadership team.

On June 15, Kim Byungkee, the newly appointed floor leader of the Democratic Party, named Moon Jinseok, a two-term lawmaker, as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Parliamentary Operations, and Heo Young, also a two-term lawmaker, as Senior Deputy Floor Leader for Policy.

Kim also established new positions for Senior Deputy for Communication and Chief of Staff for Support, appointing Park Sanghyuk (two-term lawmaker) and Yoon Jongkun (first-term lawmaker) to these roles, respectively.

The floor spokespersons will be first-term lawmakers Kim Hyunjung, Moon Geumjoo, and Baek Seungah. The Chief of Staff to the Floor Leader will be Lee Kiheon.

The team of deputy floor leaders consists of 16 members: Kim Namgeun, Kim Gipyo, Kim Moonsu, Kim Younghwan, Kim Junhyuk, Kwon Hyangyup, Moon Daerim, Park Yonggap, Park Hongbae, Oh Sehee, Lee Geontae, Lee Sungyun, Lee Hoonki, Jeon Jinsook, Cho Incheol, and Chae Hyunil. Among them, Kim Namgeun will serve in the newly established position of Deputy Floor Leader for Public Welfare.

During a briefing held at the National Assembly on the same day, Kim stated, "This lineup has been selected to reflect public sentiment, to work in harmony with the Lee Jaemyung administration, and to take the lead in restoring livelihoods, achieving economic growth, ending internal strife, and restoring constitutional order."
