The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced on June 13 that it held an "Advanced Training for Instructors on Preventing Disruption of Educational Activities" at the Science Education Center in Asan in the afternoon, and that it will further strengthen on-site support for schools by utilizing experts in preventive education.


The instructor group for preventive education against disruption of educational activities, composed of approximately 169 current teachers, plays a role in introducing laws and regulations related to the disruption of educational activities, types of disruptions, and prevention guidelines to students, parents, and faculty members in response to the recent increase in cases of educational activity disruption, as well as presenting practical methods for prevention.


On this day, about 200 people attended the training, including members of the instructor group and those in charge of educational activity protection at city and county education support offices. Professor Cha Myungho of Pyeongtaek University was invited as a lecturer and gave a case-based lecture on the topic of "Practical Operation of Preventive Education for Disruption of Educational Activities."


In addition, Choi Jaeseok, a teacher at Noseong Middle School who is also active as a member of the preventive education instructor group, delivered a lecture sharing cases of preventive education for disruption of educational activities, drawing attention from the teachers in attendance.


Song Myungsook, head of the Teacher Personnel Division, said, "I hope that the proactive activities of the instructor group for preventive education against disruption of educational activities will eliminate damages caused by malicious complaints and other issues," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to create an environment where teachers can focus on education with peace of mind."
