"Blue House Logo to Be Used Again"... Office of the President Changes Official Emblem

The Office of the President will resume using the former Blue House official emblem.

On June 13, the Office of the President announced, "In line with the initiative to return to the Blue House, the Lee Jaemyung administration will refrain from using the current emblem, which is modeled after the Yongsan presidential office building, and will instead revert to the official emblem previously used at the Blue House."

However, since the presidential office is currently located in Yongsan, the Office of the President stated that, until the return to the Blue House is complete, the text will temporarily be changed from 'Blue House' to 'Office of the President.'

The new emblem will be applied first to the new official website of the Office of the President and to new business cards for affiliated public officials. To prevent wasteful spending, existing installations and printed materials featuring the previous administration's emblem will not be replaced or discarded.
