Chungnam Province to Hold Forestry Technology Training Workshop for Professional Foresters

The Chungnam Provincial Government announced that it will hold the "2025 Forestry Technology Training Workshop" at the Seocheon County Youth Training Center for two days starting June 13, 2025, to foster professional foresters.

This workshop, organized in collaboration with the Chungnam branch of the Korea Forestry Successors Association, aims to facilitate the exchange of information on the latest forestry technologies among members and to enhance practical forest management capabilities through hands-on training and various technical education sessions.

The training will cover topics such as timber production technology, measures to revitalize distribution, a special lecture by the president of the Forestry Promotion Institute, and field training at exemplary timber production farms.

Ko Daeyeol, head of the Forest Resources Division, stated, "As the role of forests becomes increasingly important in the era of climate crisis, strengthening the expertise of forest owners and forestry professionals forms the foundation for sustainable forest management. I hope this workshop will serve as an opportunity to further enhance the capabilities of forestry professionals in the province."
