Approximately 10 active-duty and soon-to-be-discharged soldiers attended the training.
The training session provided an overview of the career transition support system using video materials, and offered practical information on various support programs, including vocational competency development training expenses, career transition support payments, and career transition consulting.
One active-duty soldier who participated in the training said, "It was helpful to learn in advance about the information needed before and after discharge," adding, "I think it will be a great help in making a stable career choice after leaving the military."
The Daegu Veterans Support Center provides customized career transition support, such as specialized commissioned training, for veterans who have served for five years or more in mid- to long-term service. Detailed information about training and counseling is available on the Veterans Support Center website or by calling the main contact number.
