Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center to Host "Walk with Parrots" Experience Event

June 18-22 at the Center's Healing Shelter

The Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center in South Chungcheong Province announced on June 13 that it will operate the "Walk with Parrots" experience event at the healing shelter within the center for five days, from June 18 to June 22.

This event is being held in collaboration with Agasae Farm, a local animal farm well known in the region. Set against the backdrop of a subtropical greenhouse environment, it will offer visitors the opportunity to see up close around 40 colorful and charming parrots from eight different species.

Visitors will be able to observe parrots throughout the healing shelter, and on June 18 and June 20, there will be a special surprise activity where guests can have parrots perch on their hands and take photos together, providing a healing moment to connect with the animals.

The exhibition will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

An official from the county's Agricultural Technology Center stated, "The Hongseong County Healing Shelter is planning and operating a variety of beneficial programs such as flower exhibitions, animal interaction, and small performances to provide residents with natural healing experiences. We will continue to fulfill the role of the healing shelter in revitalizing the local rural community through cooperation and mutual growth with experience farms."
