Meanwhile, the Protestant group Georukhan Bangpaje has announced a counter-protest of approximately 30,000 people, to be held in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Council in Jung-gu, about 600 meters from the Queer Culture Festival venue, starting at 1 p.m.

A police official stated, "We will deploy around 310 officers to maintain north-south and east-west vehicle traffic during the rallies and marches," and added, "We ask the public to use the subway as much as possible, and if you must drive, please check traffic information in advance."
