Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience cloudy and rainy weather throughout this weekend.

On Saturday, the 14th, due to a low-pressure system moving eastward over the West Sea, rain is forecast to continue until the morning and then mostly stop from midday. The expected rainfall is between 30 and 80 mm, with some areas along the southern coast possibly receiving more than 120 mm. The daytime high temperature is expected to range from 25 to 28 degrees Celsius.

The following day is also expected to be mostly cloudy with rain in the forecast. Due to the influence of a trough over the West Sea, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to receive 5 to 30 mm of rain from the afternoon. The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "There is a possibility of strong winds, thunder and lightning, and heavy rain of 30 to 50 mm per hour, especially along the southern coast," and advised, "Please refrain from camping, and pay attention to the risks of flooding in low-lying areas and accidents involving isolation near rivers."
