The court-appointed arbitration representative system is operated by the Tax Tribunal, which appoints representatives for small-scale taxpayers who have difficulty obtaining professional assistance on their own. These representatives provide free support throughout the entire process, from preparing the petition for arbitration, collecting evidence, to making statements at the tribunal meetings. Currently, a total of 29 professionals, including accountants, lawyers, and tax accountants, are serving as court-appointed representatives.

Choi Woonyeol, President of the Institute, stated, "Certified public accountants possess distinguished expertise in the fields of accounting and taxation." He expressed his gratitude for the sacrifice and service of the accountants participating as court-appointed arbitration representatives and urged them to carry out their duties responsibly as tax experts. He also added, "We will actively support more accountants to participate in protecting the rights of small-scale taxpayers."

Meanwhile, the Institute is preparing various support measures for accountants participating not only as court-appointed arbitration representatives but also in other tax administration cooperation activities, such as recognizing training hours for members and year-end commendations. The Institute also announced plans to actively pursue business agreements with related organizations, including the National Tax Service and the Tax Tribunal, in the future.
