Effective for Managing Scars and Healed Wounds with Gel-Type Formula
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on June 13 that it has launched the scar management medical device 'Kwangdong Dermatoch Ultra Plus'.
This is an adhesive transparent wound dressing in gel form, designed for the management and protection of thickened or raised scars and healed wounds. It can be used on various areas such as acne scars, surgical marks, and old everyday wounds. The formulation combines five types of silicone, as well as moisturizing ingredients like allantoin, onion extract, and vitamin E, with a focus on scar recovery.
In addition, it offers SPF30 sun protection to help prevent pigmentation, and its gel texture allows for rapid absorption with minimal stickiness, making it easy to use even before applying makeup. As it contains no steroids or anticoagulant ingredients, it is safe for sensitive skin, children, and pregnant women.
A Kwangdong Pharmaceutical representative explained, "Kwangdong Dermatoch Ultra Plus carries the brand message 'Erase the memory of scars' and is designed to promote skin recovery by soothing, moisturizing, and softening scarred areas."
The product is available for purchase at pharmacies without a prescription and is sold in 12g units.
