Amid continued strength in the KOSPI driven by expectations for the new government, the display board at Hana Bank's dealing room in Jung-gu, Seoul on June 10 shows the KOSPI index, the won/dollar exchange rate, and the KOSDAQ index. On this day, the KOSPI opened above 2,870, rising more than 10 points from the previous trading day, while the won/dollar exchange rate started trading at around 1,353 won, down by about 2 won.
