The program will run from July 16 to August 13, with participants working five hours a day, five days a week. Compensation will be provided based on Yeongdeungpo District's 2025 living wage. Interested applicants can choose their preferred field?general administration, daily life and environment, library, or welfare?when applying via the "Resident Participation - Youth Administrative Internship" section on the district office website.

Final participants will be selected through a public random draw, and the results will be announced on the district office website on June 25. Selected youth will be assigned to work at the district office, local community centers, health centers, or affiliated institutions, depending on their duties.

The Yeongdeungpo Youth Administrative Internship Program is designed to go beyond simple work experience. Participants will work in teams to complete a "District Policy Promotion Content Creation" project, helping them gain a deeper understanding of district administration as a whole. The program also provides opportunities for collaboration and communication with peers.

In addition, a mobile-based special lecture on "Generative AI Utilization," in line with the trends of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, will be offered to help strengthen participants' job competitiveness and support their ability to respond proactively to rapidly changing environments.

Choi Hokwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "I hope this will be a valuable opportunity for young people to gain experience by participating in various administrative tasks before entering society," adding, "We will continue to develop programs that enable youth to gain diverse experiences."
