Swiss watch brand Mido has opened its second standalone store at the Lotte Department Store main branch in Myeong-dong, Seoul, in an effort to further expand its customer touchpoints.
Mido was founded in 1918 by Swiss watchmaker Georges Schaeren. The name "Mido" comes from the Spanish phrase "Yo mido," meaning "I measure," reflecting the brand's deep passion for timekeeping. Mido presents timepieces that combine watchmaking expertise with innovation, functionality, and aesthetics, and currently operates over 2,400 stores in 70 countries worldwide.
The newly opened store, which began operations on April 30, offers a wide range of the brand's signature models, including the Multifort TV Big Date and Ocean Star 39, as well as new releases such as the Multifort 8 Two Crowns and Multifort Skeleton Chronograph. In addition, upcoming limited editions and new products will be launched at this location before anywhere else.
